What is Entertainmint?

Entertainmint is a collaborative storytelling platform enabling creators to fund, stream and distribute videos, graphic novels, games and more.  Our creators can raise funds in USD via Stripe or in ETH and USDC.  Our end-to-end solution is very novel for creators, particularly those in the NFT space. We’ve raised 1.5M Pre-seed on a SAFE note and are in beta, located at www.entertainmint.com.  

The company already has several fascinating success stories, with creators raising over 350k on the platform in the last 18 months via grants and fan engagement ticketing sales.  Crash Punks, an NFT collection on the BTC chain, created its first animated series by selling roles to NFT-holding fans, a model which Frenchie Ballers, a new series by NBA star Kendrick Perkins, is about to emulate with their own site raise.  Fairytale Fallout, by Adam Garcia, raised funds for its entire second season on Entertainmint and Confessions, by Evette Vargas, raised funds for a proof of concept short. Rat Czar, a new web series featuring SNL’s Rachel Dratch, Housewives’ Luann de Lesseps and more, has used a new concept of “collaborative credits” to sell fans frames of a montage opening sequence, garnering them an appearance in the show, custom art for social sharing, and early viewing with the stars!

The core team of Entertainmint has had 20 years of success making digital marketplaces.  Co-founders and marketplace builders Genevieve Thiers and Dan Ratner were founders of Sittercity.com, which raised 56M, served 10M and sold to Bright Horizons in 2020. AJ Salmen has over 20 years of experience in distribution and brings critical partner relationships Mark Vadik is an entertainment lawyer and IP legal expert.
